Design Brief- Linda

Conceptual Statement

In the context of music I will design and produce a platforming game for my class , family and everyone else to be used for making anyone who loves music and if anyone loves game or their are boring.

Evaluation

Arrows and Keys:
Arrow is to move the characters. For example : Right, Left , Straight and Back.

Sprites:
Girl, Teacher and People

character make it the main focus.

Background:
Beach, Sky, forest and Bridges.

Keep the backgrounds on the right levels. And to show where is the characters and which level are they in.

Music:
Slow music - Whistles

How the right music in each levels.

Colors:
I will have green, Red, Black and White and Blue.

To have a change of different of colours in the game.

Starting:
The start will how a big green button and will tell you what to do.

To start the game.

Levels:
There are going to be 20 levels to complete.

In the start it will go easy then it goes hard.

Points:
The Point would add up and it will say who has the most points.

To let the person playing how many point they have.

LIves:
The game will how 5 lives to go and if lost you have to start over again.

To give them 1 or more chances to play the game.

To give the game a setting and also give the game a mood

To make the game more challenging

To make the game longer and also would make the game have more features

To make the sprite able to move (using arrow keys & mouse)

Title/Instructions
To make the game easier to understand

Lives
To make the game last longer

Colours
Adds more effect and also can change the way the game is played eg: If touching colour yellow add 1 life

Music
Adds more effect and makes the game exciting

Year 8 Design Brief (Activity 6) - Tim

Conceptual Statement

In the context of (Travelling) I will design and produce a (Platformer Game) for (Everyone: Including Me) to be used (to entertain).


Attributes

Evaluation

Arrow Keys move left, right, up and down
Using Arrow Keys to avoid obstacles falling or interfering with the sprite or character

Sprites (The Main Character in the game)
The Sprite or the Character is controlled by the Arrow Keys, it depends on the arrow keys to move left, right, up and down. The Sprites are 2D and the other sprites are 3D

Backdrops/Backgrounds
The Background is depending on what the level is or what kind of level it is. It could be a specific colour like White, Grey or Black

Music
Mysterious Music to give the player a mysterious vibe from the game

Different Colours or Patterns
Neon Themed, colours (E.g. Red, Blue, Purple, Pink, Orange, Green) Yellow Neon Themed will be the Pacman’s colour

Obstacles
Obstacles, like buildings will make the game more challenging and make it hard for the sprite to get the other sprites

Scores/Points
To Keep track on the progress that has been made on the game

Mouse
Controlling, the game by the mouse or moving obstacles out of the way

Starting Point
Half-point, will be easy and will have no challenging objects to interfere

Levels
Easy to Harder. Each level will be easy and will become harder has the player goes along
